THE RULES
The following rules must be followed throughout the event.
-
A minimum of one team member must be in a WhatsApp group with your team’s assigned Judge.
-
Photo or video evidence is required for completion of all Items. You may receive additional direction in the Item description. Points will be awarded only where evidence is submitted.
-
Judges will not provide confirmation of completion of an item during the event. You submit your completion, then move on to the next Item.
-
Teams may not split up to complete Items separately.
-
Where multiple photos are required for completion of an Item please submit them to the judge in one post - this makes the Judges’ job a lot easier.
-
All Judges’ decisions are final. No arguments.
-
Respect each other. This is meant to be a good bit of fun. Treat all Judges and competitors as humans.
-
Respect the place. Wherever you go and whatever you do, be courteous, be polite, tidy up after yourselves and don’t do anything to cause inconvenience or trouble for others.
-
Respect yourselves. Be safe in whatever you do. Look out for yourself and for your teammates.
-
No loopholes. Complete the items as intended. Whilst creative thinking is definitely encouraged, trying to find shortcuts to cheat the system will result in a failure of that Item at the Judges' discretion.
-
No cars or personally owned motorised vehicles allowed. Public transport is allowed.
-
If you are provided any equipment for an Item, please replace it as you found it for the next team.
-
Don't lose your bag, and please bring it back.
-
In the event of a tie the winner will be decided by a tie-breaker Item.
-
Some small purchases may be required. The event is not pay-to-win. The event has been designed to minimise costs. You will not be reimbursed for costs incurred.
Enjoy the event and please refer to the terms and conditions for further information.
